The initial concept of PIBA Sure came from discussions with PIBA members who were exploring new avenues of distribution for their products. With margins decreasing onmotor insurance the traditional way of doing business had become unprofitable in this market. As an essential service to existing clients and a lead generator for new business curtailing the business was not an option. It was decided that PIBA should act to facilitate members who wanted to provide an internet solution to their clients.

PIBA Sure was set up as a low cost online solution for PIBA Members. Its objective is to provide online solutions to PIBA Members both in providing a better service to clients and reducing the costs of distribution. Rather than manually processing the business Brokers will be able to direct clients to a website which will allow the client to get quotes and apply for cover.

How does PIBA Sure Work?

PIBA Sure allows Brokers to place an online quote engine on their website. Any clients coming through the Brokers website are assigned that Broker’s code and will be assured that it is that Broker that processes their case. Alternatively clients can get quotes directly through the PIBA Sure website. These clients will be assigned a Broker who will look process their application once the quote has been accepted.
