Upcoming Events
In 2010, PIBA provided approximately 20 hours of free CPD events to our members. PIBA plans to host a similar number of seminars, workshops, roadshows and CPD bootcamps in 2011.
At PIBA we are committed to assisting our members and their staff to meet their annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements. CPD is of key importance to all Brokers and we understand that the need to remain compliant and to be informed of all new industry developments is paramount.

DUBLIN - PIBA CPC Compliance Workshop 2012

As previously advised, PIBA is running a national roadshow of CPC compliance workshops in early 2012.
These seminars will provide you with detailed guidance on implementing the requirements of the new Consumer Protection Code.
The workshops will be presented by Elizabeth Smith, PIBA Compliance Manager and will cover the following areas:
• Consumer Protection Code 2012
• Fitness & Probity Regime 2011
• Minimum Competency Code 2011
The seminars are FREE OF CHARGE for members and their staff and qualify for 4 hours formal CPD for both life & general insurance Brokers.
The dates and locations are as follows:
1. Thursday January 5th – Portlaoise
2. Tuesday January 10th – Waterford
3. Friday January 13th – Cork
4. Tuesday January 17th – Limerick
5. Thursday January 19th – City North, Meath
6. Thursday January 26th – Dublin, City Centre
7. Tuesday January 31st – Galway
8. Thursday February 2nd – Sligo
9. Tuesday February 7th – Dublin, Red Cow
10. Friday February 10th – Cavan
